Television defined as an electronic system of transmitting moving images to monochrome (black and white) or in color with sound over a wire or through space by apparatus that converts light and sound into electrical wave and reconverts them into visible light rays and audible sound. For users all it requires a television receiving set, which commonly knew as television. It is one of the most common utility and most used electronic media for entertainment, news, education and sports.Television is more than a source of entertainment, it is a window of the world .  The history of television shows its growing popularity after the Second World War. But it was black-and –white back then. In the mid-1960, color broadcasting was introduced in most of the developed countries. Since then television come a long way, from mechanical television to Electronic, Color, Digital, Smart TV and even 3D television is available this days. In 2013, it was assumed that nearly 79% of the world’s household owned a television set. And most of them are flat screen Digital television with technologies such as LCD, LED, Plasma displays, replaced the old bulky, high voltage CRT screen displays. There are wide range of televisions are available this days, comes in different size, configuration and brand.  The TV market has been changing constantly, both in terms of technology and price. New types of screens with organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels and ultra-high definition (UHD) TVs are popping up everywhere. Some of the popular Brands are :
